Georeferenced points cloud
What is LiDAR?
CHARACTERISTICS
Capture up to 400,000 point per second.
Mesh and 3D model generation through points cloud.
Classification of the points cloud in terrain, constructions and vegetation.
Volume and area calculation.
Measuring and counting of objects.
LiDAR is a technology that generates through laser pulse emissions a terrain model represented by a cloud of georeferenced points (3D). From that cloud you can automatically extract with precision: constructions, trees, posts, cables, terrain points and many other objects of interest.
Thanks to an advances navigational system (IMU/GPS) the LiDAR points cloud density.

Smart solutions
Guadalajara - Planning, natural environment & cadastre
With a high density LiDAR flight (10pts/m2) it was possible to make an urban inventory of the trees, identifying every individual, it’s height and tree top width. Also it helped to update the constructed areas of cadastre.
The Nature Conservancy, TNC
Study of forest degradation in early action areas for REDD+ and The Nature Conservancy, international organization leading in biodiversity conservation.
Mexico Transports and communications secretariat, SCT
Digital model terrain for blueprints for tracing highways, ducts & transmission lines in the states of Guerrero and Michoacan.
Cementos Cruz Azul
Volume quantification of extractable material in an open sky mine.
