4 generations dedicated to making maps
WE ARE TRADITION
Keeping up with technology is a constant challenge; doing it for four generations is quite an achievement.
THE TRAJECTORY IN CARTODATA
REAL-TIME INFORMATION
1930 - FIRST MAPS
Hand-drawn maps taking field measurements with chains.
1967 - FIRST AERIAL SURVEYS
We carried out the first cadastral survey in Latin America.
1987 - OUR FIRST GEOSPATIAL SOFTWARE
Awarded the silver prize by Vincent Attanasoft, AU2 marks the beginning of our era of software development.
2016 - FOURTH DIMENSION
We began mapping and analyzing space through time , making it present through the internet and mobile devices.

EXPERIENCES THAT ARE PASSED DOWN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION.

ANTONIO AUDIRAC
(1891 - 1930)
Our first maps
Antonio developed from his parents a taste for painting that later evolved into drawing the first maps made by the Audirac family, including the first map of the small town of Tezuitlán, Puebla.
Among his most outstanding works is the surveying and registration of several national parks, including the "Desierto de los Leones", now part of the Metropolitan Area of Mexico City.
HENRI AUDIRAC
(1925 - 1995)

Cadastral Flights
In 1961 he was a photogrammetrist who was part of the group of researchers who created the basis for the cadastral standards called multi-user.
In 1964, after the success of the photogrammetric tests he had proposed, he was hired for the Cadastral Mapping of Guadalajara.
He was also contracted by the OAS to implement cadastral standards and censuses for Costa Rica and Ecuador. Ecuador also contracted him to carry out the country's urban cadastre.
In 1967, Henri led the first cadastral survey carried out using aerial photogrammetric methods in the city of Guadalajara, which years later would house the headquarters of CartoData.
Geospatial Software
HENRI AUDIRAC

A Civil Engineer from UNAM with a Master of Science in Photogrammetry from Laval University in Canada, Henri has been leading the development of his own technology for over 40 years.
It took its first steps in the early 1980s with AU2, a CAD system that could be integrated with stereoplotting analytical machines to create our first digital maps. Later, it evolved into AU3 and AU4, the first digital photogrammetric workstations developed in Latin America.
Currently, Henri is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CartoData.
FÉLIX AUDIRAC

Smart Maps
Felix graduated with honors from ITESM in Computer Systems Engineering and has a Master's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
He carried out his first aerial photogrammetry mission as a cameraman with his grandfather at the age of 7 aboard the XB-BIC, which is still part of the CartoData fleet. He developed the first version of eMaps for the National Forest Council in 2001 and took a 6-year leave of absence to gain international experience while working at BlackBerry Ltd., where he was responsible for introducing smartphone technology to several Latin American markets.
In 2015 he led the Public Registry and Cadastral Harmonization project in the Municipality of Los Cabos, after which he assumed the position of General Director at CartoData (2016).
Since then, it has focused its efforts on democratizing the geospatial information generated by CartoData through the use of exponential technologies such as cloud computing, mobile devices, drones, nanosatellites, artificial intelligence and blockchain.
