LiDAR
Aerial 3D Laser Scanning
WHAT IS LiDAR?
LiDAR is a technology that generates a 3D model of the terrain using laser pulses. From this point cloud, buildings, trees, poles, cables, ground features, and many other objects of interest can be automatically and accurately extracted.

Captures up to 400,000 points per second.
Generation of meshes and 3D models using point cloud.
Classification of the point cloud in terrain, buildings and vegetation.
Calculation of volume and area.
Measuring and counting objects.
WHY DO I NEED LiDAR?
town planning
Generation of 3D models, maximum height control and line of sight studies for signal propagation studies.
natural environment
Forest inventory. Estimation of biomass volume.
cadastre
Quantification of changes in built surfaces and thematic maps.
archeology
Precise topographic surveys excluding vegetation cover
mining
Quantification of the volume of materials extracted from an open-pit mine
civil works
Inspection of works, power lines and conduits.
